day 22

Well today was another day filled with errands and not much camera time.
I should have taken my camera with me to Sue's house so I could take a picture of how her hand looked after I peeled off her bandages! Aside from the nice lump in the middle of the incision it looks pretty good. Not as big as she was expecting it to be. Maybe tomorrow I will get a shot of it and post it :) A warning to all you squeemish people, there might be a wound picture up tomorrow!!!
Anyway the rest of the day as spent at the doctors office and the hospital and the Car dealership.
I took some pictures when I got home. I wanted to play with some settings on my camera to see if I like them or not. I shot many photos of the same thing at the same zoom and same apeture and then at different shutter speeds etc. This is a result of many trials but I think it turne out well and the colours are very vibrant!
This is the reason we were at the dealership on and off. My Jeep is leaking yet again!!! (3rd time we have had it into the shop for repairs) Its been doing this on and off since we got it last February and each time we are told its fixed. The sunroof drains are freezing shut causing water to back up in the jeep and pour out of my map lights. What sucks the most is you don't know its there until you turn a corner and the water spills out all over your paint legs, your seat, the gear shit, the radio and CD player Everywhere! Today I was told to put on mud flaps on the front tires or to clean the snow off from under the wheel well everyday. This is manufactures defect, its been reported on many jeeps of this model...they moved the drain to right behind the front tires where it gets cold and snowy and freezes! I am at the point where I am ready to return the vehicle and be carless for a whie! I have to take it to the dealership every couple of weeks to "thaw" out...no way that is going to happen. This shot is taken on my Iphone (low quality..sorry) You can see the water pooling in the lights. This amount shows how much water is in there, and it already dumped a bunch on me turning the corner.

I was playing again with my new lense and took a picture of Bekah's digital Camera. The colours came out so nice and true I am very pleased!

These last three shots are of my kids all tucked into their beds sleeping tonight. I just had to get a picture of the peace and quiet in the house tonight :) They aren't the best of pictures but it captures them sleeping...thats all that counts....right?!?!?!?!
